Flatpicking Guitar Camp
2x Winfield Flatpicking Champs Roy Curry and Robert Shafer, The Winfield 3 .. Bryan McDowell, Eric Hardin and Brandon Davis in various configurations , featuring a lot of really hot picking ! Bryan was the first 3 instrument in 1 year Winfield Winner, winning Flatpicking Guitar, Mandolin and Fiddle . Eric and Brandon took 2nd and 3rd in the Flatpicking contest and are bandmates with Bryan. They are featured on the cover of the March / April FLatpicking Guitar Magazine . Saturday May 22 .. 7 pm start We have added a rare 2008/2009 IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Josh Williams solo set to the saturday lineup..Josh will also trade some hot pickin licks with 3 Winfield Champs.. Roy Curry, Robert Shafer, Bryan McDowell The Winfield 3 .. Bryan McDowell, Eric Hardin and Brandon Davis in various configurations , featuring a lot more really hot picking ! Additions are possible .. The intimate, hands on workshop schedule .. Friday mid morn .... Roy Curry, tone, note selection, building runs Friday afternoon .... Robert Shafer .... chord transitions, and substitutions. Friday late afternoon, slow jam hosted by The Winfield 3 Sat. mid morn .... Shafer and Curry .... Duo arrangements Sat. afternoon .... The Winfield 3 .. competition prep , jamming and everything in between. We have also set up a Josh Williams/Bryan McDowell workshop . To take place sometime Saturday . The schedule is tbd.. Saturday late afternoon, slow jam hosted by Roy and Robert. The weekend will feature Private Lessons on Mando, fiddle, guitar and banjo.. All shows will go on rain or shine. All sales Final. Your paypal email will be your reciept. We will exchange it for a wrist band at the gate. A Festival Patron Pass will be available this year .. $300.00 pp .. includes all workshops, jams, and concerts.. Lunch and dinner friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner saturday,a Bottle of Clydes Finest Wine, a fest T-Shirt, and preferred (front row) seating for both concerts.
